DESCRIPTION: Basic fundamentals taught in non-technical
terms. This course is for people who want to gain basic know-
ledge of operation, handling and storage of firearms. Pre-requisite
for the Target Pistol Program. INSTRUCTORS: Elizabeth Bowers
and Chris Bloch, both NRA certified.

TARGET PISTOL PROGRAM
WHO: Adults who have completed the Firearms Safety Course
WHERE: Pistol Range, Public Works Building, Lindendale Drive
WHEN: Tuesday, Jan. 18, 7 - 9 p . m . (mandatory lecture);
Tuesdays, Jan. 25 - Apr. 5, 7:30 - 9 p . m (12 weeks total)
FEE: $40 Resident; $45 Non-resident
DESCRIPTION: Instruction in safe handling and shooting.

Participants furnish own pistols—limited to .22 caliber; no 38s
or 9 mm. Only target pistols with 4-inch barrel or longer permit-
ted. First session includes a lecture and class starting times.

Winter Golf School 2011
Who: Middle school students through adults
Where: Mt. Lebanon Rec. Center Swimming Pool Bathhouse
When: January 31 – February 26 (4 Weeks)
Description: Program provides instruction by Mt. Lebanon
Golf Course Manager Dave Boal or staff. Emphasis on pre-swing
analysis, in-swing principles, rules, etiquette and golf course
management. Participants are to bring a 6 iron and wedge to the
first class. All classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fee: $50 Res.; $55 Non-res.; $5 Late fee begins January 24.

Junior Golf School
Who: Junior players ages 10 – 17 (boys & girls)
Where: Mt. Lebanon Rec. Center Swimming Pool Bathhouse
When: February 5 – February 26 (4 weeks)
Description: This program is designed to provide instruction
to both beginning and intermediate junior golfers. Emphasis on
pre-swing analysis, in-swing principles, rules, etiquette and golf
course management. Fundamentals of the full swing, chipping
and putting will be stressed. Players that participate in the Mt.

Lebanon Golf Course Junior Golf Association are encouraged
to sign-up. Participants are to bring a 6 iron and a wedge to the
first class. Instructors will include Dave Boal and Dick Schneider
from Mt. Lebanon Golf Course along with players and coaches
from area high school teams.

Fee: $50 Res.; $55 Non-res.; $5 Late fee begins January 24.

Class Schedule: Saturdays, 9:30 – 10:30 a . m . and 10:45
– 11:45 a . m . Class sizes are limited to 10 players and will be
filled on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event that these
classes are sold out, additional classes will be added.
